Inspired by God and written and sung from the heart.
Robert Ward's music is a true representation of his Christian Country Roots.
These songs really are "Portraits From My Heart." Like snapshots taken over time of things that I have experienced myself and gone through and witnessed with others I know and love. Through it all God has shown Himself true to His Word and mighty and powerful in any situation. The one true God who loves us all and desires to bring His richest blessings into our lives.
I've loved gospel music for as long as I can remember. As a small boy I remember walking through the house with an old tattered hymnal and singing "There's Power In The Blood"
It's my hope that my songs will minister to those who hear them as greatly as Gospel music has ministered to me for all these years.
I couldn't count the times it has reached into my life and picked me up from some of the deepest valleys I've gone through and inspired and encouraged me to keep going when I felt I had no more to give.
Songs that would sometimes bring the sweetest touch of God's Spirit to my life and sometimes feel His fiery presence empowering and encouraging me. Bringing a new anointing and refreshing to my spirit.
